Summary
:
Having first joined the turbulent affairs of humankind as a cleric after decades of quiet priestly devotion, Alfred successively became a sensation in his native Anglia, and then was caught in the madness which engulfed the fabled Golden Horn when Contantinople fell. Finally, binding up his fortunes with those of his companion and lover Althea, he settled into a less frenzied, though no less spectacular career among his own fair folk in Rhiyana, as their Lord Chancellor. But trouble seems to follow Alfred.
