Book two in the series finds the four boys on a survival weekend in Maine with deposed leader Steven's father and uncle. This story is narrated by Jerome, the club's new leader. During the course of the adventure, the boys face fear and physical challenges that will amuse, entice, and entertain readers. Once the club members finish their first day of paint ball war, bug eating, and wet weather, they discover that the two men are living an entirely different existence at night: warm trailer, good food, TV. The crew begins to plot their revenge and successfully overcomes the torment placed upon them by the sadistic adults. When their weekend is over, the friends return home more mature and much wiser.
