When Viola is shipwrecked and washes up on the Illyrian coast, she disguises herself as her twin brother -- whom she suspects dead -- and acquires a job for the Duke Orsino. Orsino is languishing over the beautiful and rich Olivia, who has spurned him. Naturally, Viola falls in love with the Duke, but cannot tell him her true identity.

With several complex subplots, and rampant with comedy and romance, this is one of the Bard's most enjoyable plays.
