Summary
(IBList user synopsis):
A vacationing suburban family have their first experience at a public jaunt terminal. Though "jaunting" is named for a free-will teleportation method from a famous science fiction novel, in real life humans are teleported only while unconscious, since early testers of the technology died or went mad during a split-second in translation. "It's eternity in there," said the only coherent survivor. But now carefully applied safeguards have made jaunting popular and safe for the general public
