Summary
(IBList user synopsis):
U. S. Robots and robopsychologist Susan Calvin have been enlisted to check the accuracy of rumors that Stephen Byerley, a lawyer with political ambitions, is not a human being at all, but a robot. The situation is made more difficult because Byerley, citing his rights to privacy, refuses to cooperate with standard procedures. Finally, just before the election, Susan Calvin uses the three laws governing robotic behavior to prove the case – or is it really so simple?
