Perry, Della, and Paul were looking across the restaurant at the girl in the skin-fitting dress sitting with Harrington Faulkner. Abruptly, Faulkner arose and marched over to Mason's table. "Mr. Mason," he said crisply, "the case I was trying to consult you about is not only about a goldfish. It also concerns a crooked partner, a secret formula and a golddigger." Mason looked intently at the girl Faulkner had left. "Who is she?" "She's the golddigger. I'd give a thousand dollars to the man who would take her off my hands."
