Three weirdly talented geniuses, playboy chemist Blaise Shima, psychic private investigator Gretchen Nunn, and police captain Adida Ind'dni, Subadar of the notorious Guff region of the northeastern U.S., are caught up in the mystery of a series of atrocities attributable to an entity raised from the depths of the collective id by the necromantic antics of a clique of bored socialites, the 'Bee-ladies', who have no idea they have raised a monster.
