Edition Details (IBList user synopsis): The Forever War was originally serialized in Analog. Ben Bova, editor of Analog, rejected the central novella "You Can Never Go Back" as being "too downbeat for Analog's audience." Small adjustments were made in the story to accomodate this deletion. When The Forever War was first published in book form by St. Martin's Press it followed the text of Analog excerpts. | ||||
