Summary
:
From sterile space platforms, the corporate Orbitals rule a balkazined earth of polluted wastes and sinister ghettoes, of plastic-bodied hustlers and computer-implanted outlaws. Only when criminal underworld and resistance underground merge is war declared against the Orbital Heaven; war fought at Mach-3 with delta jets and armoured shuttlecraft; fought at the speed of light in data-flow fire and stock proxy battles; fought with lasers and drugs in dark slum alleys; fought by warriors as lethal as their killing machines - for they are themselves becoming machines. Mudboys, dirtgirls, zonedancers, buttonheads - heroes hardwired for destruction.
