Book 10 in the 12 part series published by Lancer/Ace, though in L. Sprague de Camp's internal series chronology this is book 2.
"The Blood-stained God" was originally a Howard story set in 1930's Afghanistan called "The Trail of the Blood-stained God", but was re-written by L. Sprague de Camp into a Conan story.
"The Curse of the Monolith", "The Lair of the Ice Worm" and "The Castle of Terror" were written by de Camp and Lin Carter.
