Summary
(IBList user synopsis):
Benedict Vernall has just committed a capital crime -- having an illegal baby. Restricted by law to two children, he attempted to have a third in violation, and the law decrees that an individual has to be terminated to make room for the new addition to society.
Therefore, again according to law, a bounty is placed on the offender's head and a volunteer is requested to be Benedict's hunter. If the bounty hunter is successful, he gains a bounty and terminates the offender. If he loses, he dies in Benedict's place, and the criminal is allowed his third child. Now, Benedict just has to find a way to outwit his hunter, and save his family in the process...
