Summary
(IBList user synopsis):
An author recalls a time in his youth when he discovered the author Thomas Hardy. After lmeetingt a sweet old lady who knew Hardy, the boy starts spending afternoons visiting with her and her friend. Those visits end, however, when the two women are involved in a murder investigation.
