Danny, Irene and Joe go fishing to test Professor Bullfinch's new invention, a polymer adhesive with an affinity for water. Danny falls in the stream, and noting that the water tastes strange, tells his mother, who is an environmentalist. Is something wrong at the dam, and can the professor's invention solve the problem?
