Summary
:
Two scientists are experimenting with fungi, creating all types of fascinating colorful, tactile growths. One day, one of the funguses appears to move. Fascinated, the two scientists study it, and are shocked when it shows mobility. In addition, it appears to have a visual sense, for it never rolls into obstacles put in its path. Its rate of growth is extraordinary, doubling in size every two days. Then, when it is three feet tall, they go on vacation...
