Summary
:
A horrible accident takes the lives of several scientists, and leaves three others hideously injured and slowly sliding towards death. An experiment whose implications are so staggering that the only remaining scientist with the knowledge to continue refuses to provide the necessary data has gone horribly wrong. As the scientist lies dying in a hospital bed, he feels compelled to tell the whole story, and keeps a daily journal of events, carefully hidden from the authorities. This is that journal.
