Summary :

A non-romanticized interracial love story set in the aftermath of the riots that erupted in Los Angeles after the Rodney King verdict. A black female (Lee) reporter saves the life of a white male reporter (Porter) covering the riots and quickly disappears into the crowd. Months later the two meet again and Lee reluctantly begins a romantic relationship with Porter in spite of her own reservations and the reaction of her friends when the affair is revealed. This is a candid and realist story about the personal obstacles people encounter in interracial relationships.
