Summary
:
Limited edition reprints of this early 421-line pseudonymous literary satire of Graves's, his first published book, were released in 1975 to commemorate the author's 80th birthday. Only 106 of the original 1925 edition, published by Virginia and Leonard Woolf's Hogarth Press, are known to have been sold. "Marmosite" seems to be a version of the word "marmoset", in reference to an anonymous 17th century poem.
