Series: Legends from Kaua‘i
This is Frederick Wichman's second collection of legends from the island of Kaua'i. These are ancient tales of gods, ghosts, everyday people, and historical figures and events. His collection explores such things as how the sands of Hohili began to bark, or why the Spouting Horn roars, or why a half-flower grows at the beach and its matching half-flower grows in the mountains.
