Biography:
(1905-1976) Born in Surrey, England, part of his youth was spent in Africa. Was an RAF mobile radio operator during WW2, later worked in engineering before becoming a full-time writer. A long time follower of Charles Fort, he became an active member of the Fortean Society, also a founding member of the British Interplanetary Society and was involved in early science fiction fandom in Britain.
