(1914-1999) Argentine novelist and short-story writer. His novels include The Invention of Morel, Heroes Dream (1954) and Journal of the War of the Pig (1969). He was a great friend of Jorge Luis Borges, and they collaborated on a number of works under the pen-name of Bustos Domecq. He was married to Silvina Ocampo, who was also a writer.
