Carl Jacobi (1908-1997) was born and lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was an editor of Midwest Media, and served in a similar capacity on the Minnesota Quarterly, and the Ski-U-Mah during his college years. A contest-winning story, Mive, introduced him to readers of Weird Tales in 1932.
