Richard Stark is a pseudonym for mystery Grand Master Donald E. Westlake. Under the Stark name, Westlake has written the Parker novels, a series about a professional thief and his criminal exploits. Parker is the ultimate anti-hero who will let nothing stand in the way of a score. The Parker novels have inspired the films Point Blank (1967), The Outfit (1974), Slayground (1984), and Payback (1999). So far, there are twenty-five novels in the series.
