Ann Druyan, widow of the late Dr. Carl Edward Sagan, was born on the 13th of June, 1949 in Queens, New York, USA. Druyan was a key contributor for most of Sagan's later works. She also appeared as herself in the movie, Contact, based on the book of the same title written by Carl Sagan and herself.
