John Helfers has partnered with Martin H. Greenberg and others for more than a dozen noted science fiction, horror, weird fiction and adventure anthologies. He is co-editor with Denise Little of The Valdemar Companion: A Guide to Mercedes Lackey's World of Valdemar. His own science fiction and fantasy stories began appearing in 1996; they include "Serpent in the Garden" and "The Tenacity of the Dead". Edited works:
