Douglas Terman was educated at Cornell and Columbia Universities, then flew with night interceptor and bomber squadrons, and went on to become a missile launch crew commander. In 1963 he sailed his schooner to the West Indies, and for the next twelve years cruised extensively in European and Caribbean waters. Since 1978, Mr. Terman has lived in the green mountains of Vermont and worked as a novelist. he has written novels of political intrigue and adventure for adults.
