Jerome Lewis Bixby. American short-story and screenplay writer. He has published numerous stories, some of which are collected in Space by the Tale (1964) and The Devil's Scrapbook (1964). His film scripts include Curse of the Faceless Man, It!, The Terror from Beyond Space, Fantastic Voyage, and The Lost Missle. Bixby is also a music composer and an amateur architect, and the founder of the Church of Reality Research in Los Angeles.
