Thelma D. Hamm Evans (1905-1994) is known to have written twelve short science fiction stories of very high quality between 1952 and 1961. Many of these stories have a horror tinge and remind one of early examples of the films Predator or Alien. The goal for the protagonists in Hamm's short stories is usually survival.
