Biography:
Since the appearance of his first novel in 1976, Loren D. Estleman has written 50 books and hundreds of short stories and articles. Novel #48, titled Sinister Heights was published by Mysterious Press in February 2002. It's the fifteenth installment of the Amos Walker PI Series. His latest historical western novel is Black Powder, White Smoke, published by Forge Books last fall. A new Peter Macklin novel, titled Something Borrowed, Something Black, (also from Forge Books) was published in April 2002. This year will see the Sweet Sixteen novel in the Amos Walker series, Poison Blonde, and a Page Murdock western, titled Port Hazard. Estleman is currently working on another novel, some short stories, and has recently finished proposals for future novels in both the mystery and historical western genres.
