Mark de Castrique is a television and film producer whose work has earned Emmy, Clio, and Telly awards. Mark grew up in the mountains of North Carolina, earned B.A. degrees in English and Radio, Television and Motion Pictures at UNC-Chapel Hill and an M.A. in English Literature at UNC-Charlotte. His play, A Dying Business, was presented during the 2001 New Plays in America Festival. In addition to writing and producing, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at the North Carolina School of the Arts School of Filmmaking. Mark and his wife live in Charlotte. They have two daughters and a spoiled schnauzer.
