Dorr's poetry and fiction has appeared in the anthologies Dante's Disciples, Dark Destiny, Elric: Tales of the White Wolf, as well as a number of other publications spanning horror, fantasy, mystery, and science fiction. He also plays Renaissance music with a semiprofessional recorder consort and has a large, male Himalayan cat that sometimes answers to the name Fang.
