Wayne Scott received degrees from the University of Chicago and an M.F.A. in creative writing from American University in 1995. He has written theater and book reviews for The Windy City Times, The Washington Blade, Outlines, and Metroline. A psychiatric social worker specializing in posttraumatic stress and dissociative identity disorder ("multiple personality"), he has published clinical articles and chapters in The Family Therapy Networker, Common Boundary, Differential Diagnosis and Treatment on Social Work, clinical Social Work Journal, and Journal of Family Psychotherapy. He lives in Washington, D.C., with his partner Elizabeth Theilman.
