Paul Edwin Zimmer was the co-author with his sister Marion Zimmer Bradley of The Survivors (1979). Among his solo works were The Lost Prince (1982), A Gathering of Heroes (1987) and Ingulf the Mad (1989). Paul was stricken by an apparent heart attack Friday evening, October 17, while in the company of a group of fans at Albacon, in Schenectady, NY. According to witness Dale Farmer's report on rec.arts.fandom, members of the convention performed CPR until paramedics arrived, but to no avail.
