Biography:
Madeleine L'Engle was the author of many books for both young readers and adults, including A Wrinkle in Time, A Wind in the Door, The Arm of the Starfish, and The Journey with Jonah. She lived in New York City with her husband, a TV actor, and was writer-in-residence at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. She passed away on September 6th, 2007 at the age of 88.
