Robert R. McCammon is one of horror literature's most infamous authors. His talent in the field is unmatched by many, yet he is as elusive as the night. Not much is known about the author's personal life. It is known that he was born in 1952 and is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. His most noted achievement is as the creator of the Horror Writer's Association.
McCammon is the best-selling author of thirteen novels. Among them are Swan Song, Boy's Life, Mine, The Wolf's Hour, Stinger, and Mystery Walk. McCammon retired from writing horror in November of 1999, much to the dismay of many faithful fans. He is now writing and editing history and short stories.
