Summary

Young Gloria Weston adores her mute robot nursemaid, Robbie, but her mother believes she is too fond of him and convinces her husband to return the robot. Gloria is distraught, and her parents arrange for her to visit U.S. Robots to show her that robots are only machines – but her father has a secret plan of his own.
